Enter any two of distance, time, and pace and we'll calculate the third — in minutes per kilometre or per mile — along with your speed.

Runners usually think in pace (time per distance, e.g. 5:00/km), while speed is the inverse (distance per time, e.g. 12 km/h). Both describe the same effort — pace is just easier to hold in your head during a run. This tool shows both so you can talk in whichever your watch, treadmill, or training plan uses.
Knowing today's pace is useful; seeing it trend over weeks is what actually drives improvement. ActivityStat writes your pace, splits, and progress into every Strava activity description automatically, so the number is in front of you on every run without opening a calculator.
Divide your total time by the distance you covered. For example, running 10 km in 50 minutes is a pace of 5:00 per kilometre (50 ÷ 10). This calculator does it instantly and also converts to minutes per mile and to speed in km/h and mph.
It depends on your age, experience, and the distance. Many recreational runners cruise at an easy pace of 6:00–7:30 per km (roughly 9:40–12:00 per mile). The most useful benchmark is your own pace trend over time and how you compare to similar athletes.
Speed is distance divided by time. To go from pace to speed in km/h, divide 60 by your pace in minutes per km. A 5:00/km pace equals 12.0 km/h (60 ÷ 5). The calculator shows both km/h and mph automatically.
A 1:59:59 half marathon (21.0975 km) requires about 5:41 per km, or roughly 9:09 per mile. Switch the calculator to “Finish time” mode and try paces around there to find your target.
ActivityStat connects to Strava and writes your pace, power zones, cadence, and performance trends straight into each activity description. Free to start.
