Changelog

New features, fixes, and improvements — newest first.

  1. Improvement

A shareable stats page worth sharing

    • Your Athlete Pro stats page now has a training calendar: every day you ran or rode this season, shaded by how big the day was.
    • It also shows the personal records you set this season. Switch on "Show my pace and volume" under Shareable Stats Page to add your average pace, weekly distance and how you compare with runners in your age group (faster than X%, runs more than Y%). It is off by default, and your age and sex are never shown.
    • The page and its preview image now use your name instead of "Athlete".
    • Early in the year, before you have logged anything, the page shows last season and says so instead of an empty card.
    • New Save image button: send the preview card straight to Instagram, Strava or a message, or download it.
    • Fixed: if you are ahead of UTC, an activity you logged today could be left out of the page's totals until later in the day.
  2. Improvement

    Streaks that survive New Year

    • Your run and ride streaks are now kept as a record of their own: current streak with its start date, your longest ever, and the streaks before it. See them on the dashboard Streak card.
    • No more retyping your streak every 1 January. If your streak started before your Strava history, correct it once and it keeps counting from there.
    • Deleting an activity or correcting its sport type on Strava now updates your streak straight away.
    • The streak line on Strava now shows when it started: "🔥 Run streak: 1,247 days (since 12 Apr 2023)".
    • Milestone callouts: the run or ride that completes a 7, 30 or 100 day streak, every full year, or every 500 days gets a 🏆 line of its own.
    • Streak protection by email (Beast Mode, opt in on the Streak card): an early-evening heads-up when a streak has nothing logged yet that day, and a note when you hit a milestone.
    • Free accounts now see their current and longest streak on the dashboard too. Beast Mode adds it to every Strava activity, milestone callouts, streak emails, and corrections.
    • Athlete Pro stats pages now show your streak, and so does the preview image when you share the link. If a streak has ended, the page shows your longest instead.
    • Choose what counts as a streak day (Beast Mode): any activity, or one run or ride of at least 1 km, 1 mile or 5 km, the way streak-running communities count. Your longest streak and history follow the same rule.
    • Fixed: a long streak you told us about that later ended is now counted in your longest streak instead of disappearing from it.
  3. New Feature

    Export your activity history

    • Athlete Pro members can now download their complete activity history as a CSV — every run and ride with distance, time, elevation, heart rate, and streaks.
    • Exports respect your current activity-type filter, so you can pull just your runs or just your rides.
  4. Improvement

    A fresh new look

    • A premium, sporty design system rolled out across ActivityStat for a cleaner, more polished experience on every page.
  5. Improvement

Shareable Stats page is now opt-in

    • Your public shareable stats page now stays private until you choose to turn it on, so you're always in control of what's visible.
  6. New Feature

    Annual billing is here

    • Save with yearly plans — annual billing is now available for both Beast Mode and Athlete Pro.
    • Existing subscribers keep their current price.
  7. New Feature

    Age-group benchmarks & free calculators

    • See how you stack up — your dashboard now shows what percentage of athletes your age you're faster than.
    • New Benchmarks section built from real ActivityStat athlete data.
    • Free running & cycling calculators — no account required.
    • New Strava subscription comparison page.
  8. New Feature

    Athlete Pro tier launched

    • New Athlete Pro subscription ($5/mo) with advanced stats for serious athletes.
    • PR & Achievement Tracking — automatically highlights new personal bests in your Strava description.
    • Average Cadence in activity descriptions.
    • Average Power (watts) in activity descriptions.
    • Year-over-year distance comparison.
    • Shareable Stats Page so you can show off your numbers.
    • Beast Mode users now see an upgrade prompt when they tap locked Athlete Pro features.
  9. Bug Fix

Streak, heatmap, stats & sync reliability fixes

    • Run streak can now be toggled off correctly — previously the historical streak value was applied even when the streak was disabled.
    • Heatmap was 1 day out for some users. Start date now correctly aligns to the Monday of the week containing Jan 1, using UTC date handling throughout.
    • Year KMs and monthly day counts were off due to a Sunday-based week boundary. All stat calculations now use Monday as the start of the week, matching the heatmap display.
    • Past activities would not sync for accounts created before the ownerId field was introduced. The sync query now matches both legacy (athlete.id) and current (ownerId) storage formats.
